Morgan Jones signs with Greek Basketball Club AC PAOK

An important move was announced by PAOK in the Women’s Basketball.

The Thessalonians officially acquired the Morgan Jones, an American forward who has been playing in the US collegiate league so far. Last season the Morgan in 38 matches with the Louisville averaged 8.9 points, 4.2 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.1 steals in 19.5 minutes of action.

The announcement in detail:

“PAOK, and the women’s basketball department, announce the start of cooperation with the athlete, Morgan Jones, for the 2023-2024 season. Born in the USA on 02/10/1999, Morgan Jones plays both forward positions and is 188cm tall.

He began the 2018-19 season at the University of Florida, where as a rookie, he recorded 16.2 minutes, 5.2 points, 2.8 rebounds and 0.3 assists. The following season at the University of Florida, he finished the season averaging 19.6 minutes, 5.8 points, 4.5 rebounds and 0.8 assists. In the 2020-21 season, he finished with 27.9 minutes of participation, 12.8 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists.

While in her final season (2021-22) at the University of Florida, she finished with 26.8 minutes of participation, 13.8 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.6 assists. Last season (2022-23) he played at Louisville University, averaging 19.5 minutes, 8.9 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.4 assists.

He is a three-time all-district All-American and was a finalist for the College Defensive Player of the Year award.

Regarding the start of cooperation with PAOK, Morgan Jones stated on the Association’s official website, acpaok.gr:
